Java
Dawg Coffee becomes the Official Roaster
of Time Bandit Captain's Blend Coffee

|
 |
No one knows
the importance of a great cup of coffee more than an Alaskan crab
boat captain. Plying the perilous
waters of the Bering Sea for weeks on end with little sleep makes
coffee not just a comfort, but part of your survival gear. So when
the Hillstrand Brothers, owners of the famous Time Bandit crab boat
featured on Discovery Channel's hit show "Deadliest Catch",
got one taste of Java Dawg's Craft Roasted Coffees, they knew they
knew it was time to update their survival gear.
Working with
Chris Keesecker, Java Dawg Coffee owner and master roaster, a blend
of some of the best arabica beans from all over the planet was created
that was to Johnathan and Andy's high standards for perfection.
The brew was christenend, "Captain's Blend" and the label
features the Time Bandit's distinctive skull and cross bones logo.

The
Java Dawg Double Decker Coffee Shop Bus
Causes Quite A Buzz!
|
|
Early one rainy,
morning in August, a strange site rolled into the spot at the Sarasota
Farmer's Market where the Java Dawg Coffee Cart usually sits. Mouths
fell open, cell phones were ripped from pockets, and cameras started
appearing everwhere. The Java Dawg Double Decker Coffee Shop Bus
was officially unveiled.
As more people
started showing up at the market for their Saturday Morning coffee
and other market purchases, more people lingered around the restored
and remolded 1978 English Double Decker Bus. As people stepped into
the bus to prepare their coffee or climbe the circular staircase
for a bird's eye view of the market, it was clear that Sarasota
had a new tourist attraction and that coffee shop history had been
made.
